After breaking my back and two very horrible surgeries, I have also had to rely on some great friends and family members to help me get on the water. Even if it is something as small as one of my children backing me and the Triton into the water and then parking the truck. And you know what? The memories of time spent with them are way more meaningfull then fishing any tournament with some drawn partner. Maybe some day you or I will be able to repay these great people in our lives but, untill then, lets enjoy the fact that people like spending time with us and never take it for granted. I hope you get out 1000 times this year my friend and I hope you are feeling beter. As for me, maybe I will see you on the water. I will be the 45 year old guy that is getting his butt kicked fishing by his son or one of his 3 daughters.
