How Do You Fish That Spinnerbait? Here’s How to Increase Your Catch!

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

How do you fish your spinnerbaits?  Do you just throw them out and reel them back in?  If so, then you are missing out on most of your catches.

When throwing a spinnerbait, flutter it!  Reel in the bait for a short distance, pause it for a split second then reel it in some more.  This will cause the bait to stop and flutter.

Are you throwing it in trees?  If so, hit the limbs, the trunk, anything that will cause an erratic behavior.  This will make the bass want to strike more often.

Fishing rocks? Let the blades hit the rocks and make a noise and again cause an un-normal behavior.

Here is my point…instead of just throwing and reeling a spinnerbait back in, do something different with it that will cause it to act different, the better you get at this method, the more fish you will catch.

Catching Bass Like The Pros Do On TV

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Isn’t it great how the pros on the TV shows catch all those big bass in a half hour?  I mean look at Bill Dance, Roland and all the others catching lots of 5 pound bass in that short of time.

Do you realize it might take a week to film a half hour show?  They don’t catch all those fish back to back usually but film a segment at a time then put them all together to make a TV show.

Next time you’re out on the lake and wonder how the pro’s catch so many bass in a day, just remember it might take them a lot longer than it is you to catch fish.
